EXTINCTIONS CHOICE - Dwarf Allosaurus Tooth
Stock Number  DSTX05
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:    ''Dwarf Allosaurus''
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Dinosaur Beds
Location:  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Size:  Tooth is 2.3 inches long

This is a very unusual dinosaur tooth. It is from a ''Dwarf Allosaurus'' from the Early Cretaceous of Melbourne, Australia. There are very few dinosaurs described from Australia, and even fewer therapods known. This tooth is a large blade tooth with almost all of the serrations intact. The tip has the last 0.6 inches restored, but it is hardly noticeable without magnification. The rest of the tooth is very nice. This is a good example of a therapod tooth from an extremely rare Australian dinosaur (glass-topped display case included for free).

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
