Name:
Siroccopteryx moroccensis Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana Formation
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 1.25 inches long
This is a very nice tooth of Siroccopteryx moroccensis from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Siroccopteryx was not a "true" dinosaur, but rather a "flying reptile", or pterosaur. This long tooth is somewhat curved and has wonderful, natural red color. The detail of the tooth is easily seen, and the look of the tooth is quite impressive. This is a nice, large specimen of a tooth from an extinct Pterosaur.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
