This is a very unique trace fossil. It is a huge dinosaur coprolite (poop) from the Jurassic of Utah. This massive coprolite has been sliced with a diamond saw and then highly polished on both sides to reveal the beautiful color pattern of the mineralization in the interior of the fossil dung. This is an extremely large and collectible example of a fossilized dinosaur turd - what a conversation piece!
