Siroccopteryx moroccensis Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana Formation
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 1.35 inches long
This is a very nice tooth of Siroccopteryx moroccensis from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Siroccopteryx was not a "true" dinosaur, but rather a "flying reptile", or pterosaur. This thick tooth is somewhat curved and has wonderful, natural color. The detail of the tooth is easily seen and well preserved. This is a nice, large specimen of a tooth from an extinct Pterosaur.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
