Cool Siroccopteryx Pterosaur Tooth from Africa
Stock Number  DSTAN50
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:    Siroccopteryx moroccensis Tooth
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Tegana Formation
Location:  Taouz, Morocco
Size:  Tooth is about 1.2 inches long

This is a very distinct tooth of Siroccopteryx moroccensis from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Siroccopteryx was not a "true" dinosaur, but rather a "flying reptile". This thin tooth is extremely detailed and has wonderful, natural dark red color. And there is a cool  mottles pattern on the enamel, which is quite interesting. This is a very fine specimen of a needle-like tooth from an extinct Pterosaur.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
