Name:
Siroccopteryx moroccensis Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana Formation
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 1.2 inches long
This is a very cool tooth of Siroccopteryx moroccensis from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Siroccopteryx was not a "true" dinosaur, but rather a "flying reptile". This thin tooth is extremely detailed and has wonderful, natural yellow-orange color. And there is just a little wear to the tip of the tooth from use, which is quite interesting. This is a very fine specimen of a sharp tooth from an extinct Pterosaur.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
