Name:
Siroccopteryx moroccensis Teeth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana Formation
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 1.6 inches along curve
This is a very colorful tooth of Siroccopteryx moroccensis from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Siroccopteryx was not a "true" dinosaur, but rather a "flying reptile". This thin tooth is nicely curved and has wonderful, orange-red color. The enamel of the tooth is well preserved and easily seen. And there is a little wear to the tip of the tooth from use. This is a very fine, curved specimen of a tooth from an extinct Pterosaur.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
