Rare Pathological Deltadromeus Tooth - Killer!
Stock Number  DSTRA79
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:    Deltadromeus agilis Tooth
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Tegana Formation
Location:  Taouz, Morocco
Size:  Tooth is 0.45 inches long

This is a fabulous example of a rare pathological dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This colorful tooth is from Deltadromeus agilis, a fierce Raptor dinosaur. This blade-like tooth has great form and wonderfully preserved enamel. The tip is still intact, and the serrations are still razor-sharp and very impressive on the cutting edges of the tooth, which is quite unusual. The pathological part of the tooth is where the serrations of the tooth have been "pushed in" - it looks like the serrations are missing, but look again - the tooth grew that way! This is a killer tooth from this classic Raptor dinosaur, great for a collection, gift, or conversation piece.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
