This is a very fine specimen of a Masiakasaurus knopfleri tooth from Kamoro, Madagascar. Masiakasaurus was a large meat-eating dinosaur. This tooth is from the Jurassic (Oxfordian) Layers. The tooth has great natural color - the enamel is very good, and the serrations are excellent, being very pronounced. The is tip and root of the tooth also display well. This is a very nice tooth from an unusual carniverous dinosaur.
