This is a fine example of a rare dinosaur tooth. It is a great Richardoestesia gilmorei Tooth from South Dakota. This tooth came directly from a major dinosaur collection, and here is how the previous owner described the tooth: "Tooth is in excellent condition and complete except for two small thin areas at the base of the tooth. Any root remains of this species are extremately rare. Serrations are very fine and in good condition. Tip is intact with no appreciable wear pattern. Absolutely no repair and no restoration. Tooth is exceptionally large for this species." What more can be said? It is a fabulous specimen for the elite dinosaur collector.
