Here is a fine example of a tooth from Edmontosaurus annectens, a herbiverous dinosaur, from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. This type of dinosaur is a hadrosaur, or ''duck-billed dinosaur''. The tooth is very 3-dimensional and exhibits very good form. The fine detail of the tooth is easily seen. The enamel is well preserved and has nice coloration. This is a fine tooth from this plant-eating dinosaur.
