Name:
Anhanguera sp. Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana Formation
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 1.3 inches long
Here is a fine example of an Anhanguera tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Anhanguera was not a true dinosaur, but rather a ''flying reptile''. This cone-shaped tooth is quite 3-dimensionally preserved. The tip of the tooth is quite sharp and slightly rounded due to natural wear, and the brick-red color of the tooth is very striking. This is a very nice Pterosaur tooth from the Cretaceous.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
