This is a very large tooth of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, a massive carniverous dinosaur. The tooth (over FOUR inches long!) is very thick and quite robust. The serrations along the cutting edges are very nice and easily seen. The tooth has good enamel intact, and a small section of the root of the tooth is even preserved. This is a large, nicely colored tooth of this classic meat-eating dinosaur.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
