Here is a fine example of a tooth from Maiasaura peeblesorum, a herbiverous dinosaur, from the Cretaceous of Montana. This type of dinosaur is a hadrosaur, or ''duck-billed dinosaur''. The tooth is very 3-dimensional and exhibits very good form. The fine detail of the tooth is easily seen. The enamel is well preserved and has beautiful coloration. This is a distinct tooth from this classic plant-eating dinosaur.
