Very Distinct Keichousaur with Fine Detail Preserved
Stock Number  DSK32
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:    Keichousaurus hui
Age:  Triassic
Formation:  Huixia Beds
Location:  Guanglin, Guizhou Province, China
Size:  Keich is about 9 inches long

This is a very displayable fossil. It is a large Keichousaurus hui from the Triassic of China. This dinosaur-like reptile is very well-preserved and exhibits fine detail. The head, long neck, body, limbs, and lengthy tail are all easily seen. The legs are nicely displayed, many of the tiny digits of the feet are present (rare), and even the individual ribs are fossilized! The complete Keichousaur has great color and contrast and is beautifully showcased on the rectangular plate of shale that has a natural white fault line running through it (not broken!). This is a very fine example of this dinosaur-like reptile from the Triassic.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
