This is a very fine tooth of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, a massive carniverous dinosaur. The large tooth (three inches long!) is very thick and quite robust. The serrations along the cutting edges are very nice and easily seen. The tip and a beautiful, natural wear facet intact. The tooth has good enamel preserved, and a small section of the root of the tooth is even present. This is a large, nicely colored tooth of this classic meat-eating dinosaur.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
