This is a very rare and beautiful dinosaur tooth. It is from the famous Ceratopsian dinosaur, Triceratops horridus. This tooth was recently acquired from a major fossil collection. This tooth is a superb quality specimen - it is a large and unworn tooth that measures over 1 3/4'' in total length. The tooth is very well preserved and solid, including most of the root structure. The tooth has been prepared on the natural chunk of matrix it was found in - having this tooth on it's natural matrix base makes it an amazing and unique display piece! This is an excellent fossil Triceratops tooth for the advanced dinosaur collector.
