This is a large tooth of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, a massive carniverous dinosaur. The tooth (over three and a half inches long) is very thick and quite robust. The serrations along the cutting edges are very nice and easily seen. The tooth has good enamel intact, and a small section of the root of the tooth is even preserved. This is a large, nicely colored tooth of this classic meat-eating dinosaur.
