Name:
Grallator tenuis (Dinosaur Tracks)
Age: Jurassic
Formation: Portland Formation
Location: Near Amherst, Massachusetts
Size: Plate is about 26 inches wide
This is a very rare dinosaur trace fossil. It is a DOUBLE Grallator tenuis track from the Jurassic of Massachusetts. These tracks, or impressions, are very distinct and wonderfully exhibit the three-toed nature of the dinosaur's foot. The tracks have been slightly darkened for contrast and are extremely well centered on the large, natural plate of matrix. This is a fabulous example of a pair of dinosaur tracks that would be a great conversation piece.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
