Here is a terrific fossilized tooth from the meat-eating dinosaur, Carcharodontosaurus saharicus. This specimen was excavated from the Tegana Formation of Morocco. This wonderful tooth has not seen much wear at all - it has very sharp serrations, and the tip of the tooth is excellent. The enamel of this tooth is beautifully preserved and strikingly dark. This is simply a beautiful carniverous dinosaur tooth.
