Name:
Spinosaurus aegyptiacus Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana Formation
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 2.8 inches long
This is a complete Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Spinosaurus was a large, carniverous dinosaur that is also known as the ''Thorn Lizard''. This dagger-shaped tooth is extremely 3-dimensional and very ''clean'' on both sides. The tip of the tooth exhibits very little natural wear, and the enamel is also well preserved. But the most unusual feature of this tooth is that it has its full root intact - very few Spinosaurus teeth ever found have the entire root preserved. This is an excellent example of a complete Spinosaurus tooth from North Africa.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
