EXTINCTIONS CHOICE - Mosasaur Teeth in Matrix
Stock Number  DSTVV04
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:    Mosasaurus anceps Teeth
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Mosasaur Beds
Location:  Morocco
Size:  Largest tooth is 5.2" long

Here is an excellent set of teeth from a large, aquatic reptile. These are Mosasaurus anceps teeth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This specimen was once part of a major fossil collection. These extinct lizard teeth are very robust and exhibit fine detail. The corrugated enamel of the teeth is beautifully preserved, and the very tip of the larger tooth is nearly perfect. A majority of the root of the larger tooth is still intact, which is extremely unusual. The fossils have wonderful color and contrast and are well centered on the large natural plate of matrix. And, best of all, these teeth have not been ''placed'' on the rock - they are totally natural, embedded in the rock. This is a very displayable example of Mosasaur teeth direct from a major collection.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
