Name:
Spinosaurus aegyptiacus Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 2.85 inches long
Here is an excellent tooth from a carniverous dinosaur. This is a Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Tegana Formation of Morocco. Spinosaurus was, perhaps, the largest meat-eater to have ever walked the earth. This giant carnivore was one of the recent stars of the movie ''Jurassic Park III''. This tooth is very robust and extremely well preserved. The very tip of the tooth exhibits a minute amount of natural wear, and a long section of the root is still intact. The corrugated, shiny, brown enamel is wonderfully displayed on both sides of the tooth. This is a great specimen of a large Spinosaurus tooth from the Cretaceous.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
