Name:
Keichousaurus hui
Age: Triassic
Formation: Huixia Beds
Location: Guanglin, Guizhou Province, China
Size: Keichousaur is almost 10 inches long
This is a very displayable Keichousaur from the Triassic of China. It has been meticulously cleaned under a microscope to reveal the very fine detail of the fossil. The detail is so good, you can even see ALL the individual finger digits and the tiny teeth in the mouth! The Keich has been prepared in high relief so that the fossil is raised above the surface of the matrix. This dinosaur-like reptile is very nicely articulated. The bone quality of this specimen is excellent. The fossil has great color and contrast. It is very aesthetically centered on the rectangular plate of matrix. And there is NO RESTORATION to the fossil whatsoever. This is an excellent specimen of Keichousaurus. It is as close as most collectors can come to owning a complete dinosaur skeleton.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
