This is a nice large tooth of Saltasaurus robustus from Argentina. This dinosaur was a relatively small armor-plated titanosaurid. Dinosaur remains from Argentina are very difficult to obtain. This tooth has part of the root preserved. The tooth has beautiful color. The corrugations of the enamel are nicely displayed. The typical wear facet on the tip is evident. This is a very nice Saltasaurus tooth from the Cretaceous of Argentina.
