This is a nice tooth of the Velociraptor-like dinosaur, Saurornitholestes. This specimen is from the Cretaceous of Montana. Saurornitholestes was a small carniverous dinosaur. The skull and teeth of this dinosaur are almost identical to the well known Velociraptor. This tooth has excellent black color. The serrations are very distinct. There is a nice natural wear facet on one side near the very fine tip. This is a very good tooth of Saurornitholestes. This tooth comes in an acrylic display case.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
