This is a very nice tooth from Saurornitholestes langstoni (?) from Montana. Saurornitholestes was a small, lightly built theropod with a large head and a narrow snout. The skeletal parts of this dinosaur are almost identical to Velociraptor. This tooth has nice enamel and good color. The serrations are quite noticeable. The tip of the tooth is very fine. This is a very good example of a Saurornitholestes tooth from the Cretaceous. This tooth comes in an acrylic display case.
