Here is a genuine hadrosaur egg encased in a large block of matrix. This is Dendroolithus sp. from the Cretaceous of China. Hadrosaurs are well known for their "motherly" instincts. The slightly crushed egg retains a large portion of the original, textured eggshell. It has been prepared with an air abrasive machine to reveal the fine detail. The dark color of the egg contrasts nicely with the reddish-brown matrix. This hatched egg displays very nicely on the large block. This dinosaur egg has no restoration or areas that have been filled in by the Chinese diggers. This is a lot of dinosaur egg for the money.
