Name:
Anhanguera sp.
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 1.65 inches long
Here is a fine example of an Anhanguera tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Anhanguera was not a "true" dinosaur, but rather a "flying reptile". This slightly curved tooth is quite 3-dimensionally preserved. The tip of the tooth is slightly rounded due to natural wear, and the brick-red color of the tooth is very striking. This is a very nice Pterosaur tooth from the Cretaceous.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
