Spinosaurus aegyptiacus
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 2 inches long
Here is a nice dinosaur tooth. This is Spinosaurus aegyptiacus from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This giant carniverous dinosaur probably had a sail-like fin on its back which may have served as a heat-regulating device. This 3-dimensional tooth is very nicely preserved and has beautiful reddish-brown enamel. A sizable portion of the root is still intact. This is a very good tooth from one of the ''stars'' of ''Jurassic Park III''.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
