Here is a beautiful fossil reptile. This is a nicely articulated specimen of Keichousaurus hui from the Triassic of China. This dinosaur-like reptile is extremely well preserved and exhibits great detail. The head, long neck, body, limbs, and lengthy tail are all present. Many of the small teeth can be seen in the skull. The limbs are exquisitely displayed in the splayed position and even the tiny digits of the feet are present. The dark black bones of the Keich are very robust and contrast wonderfully with the lighter-colored matrix. It is nicely positioned on the large rectangular plate. This is a very aesthetic specimen of this dinosaur-like reptile.
