Here is a rare theropod tooth. This is a Troodon formosus tooth from the Cretaceous of Montana. This dinosaur is known for its sharp, serrated teeth. This tooth is a great example. It has large, sharp serrations and a small, natural wear facet on the tip. The enamel is well preserved and has beautiful coloration. The tooth comes in its own special display case. This is a very fine tooth from this unusual North American theropod.
