Name:
Spinosaurus aegyptiacus Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana Formation
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 2.15 inches long
Here is a very good tooth of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus, a large carniverous dinosaur, from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This extremely robust tooth has a large portion of the root intact, and the corrugated enamel of the tooth is nicely displayed. The rounded tip of the tooth shows some natural wear, and the ''cutting edges'' of the tooth are clearly defined. The 3-dimensional tooth has great, reddish-brown color and is quite striking. This is a wonderful tooth for the beginning collector, or anyone who would like to carry a conversation piece around in their pocket.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
