Large Keichousaur From The Triassic Of China
Stock Number  DSK08

Name:    Keichousaurus hui
Age:  Triassic
Formation:  Huixia Beds
Location:  Guanglin, Guizhou Province, China
Size:  Reptile is 9.9 inches long.

This is a large specimen of Keichousaurus hui from the Triassic of China. This reptile resembles a long-necked dinosaur. The fossil has been prepared with an air-abrasive machine to reveal the fine detail of the animal. The small skull, extremely long neck, body, and long tail are all present. This specimen has the neck in a much straighter position than most examples of this beast. The specimen is very nicely articulated. Many of the very small teeth of the reptile are visible in the skull. Even the very tiny digits of the feet are quite evident. The fossil has good color and contrast. It is well centered on a semi-rectangular plate of matrix. This is a very good example of this dinosaur-like reptile from China.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
