EXTINCTIONS CHOICE - HUGE Spinosaurus Tooth
Stock Number  DSTMO52
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:    Spinosaurus aegyptiacus Tooth
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Tegana
Location:  Taouz, Morocco
Size:  Tooth is almost 5 inches long

Here is a huge, massive tooth from a sail-backed, carniverous dinosaur. This is Spinosaurus aegyptiacus ("Thorn Lizard") from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This dinosaur was prominently featured in the movie, "Jurassic Park III". This extremely robust tooth has a large portion of the root intact. There is even a chunk of rock matrix still attached to the end of the root. The shiny enamel of the tooth is in excellent condition and is beautifully displayed. This wonderfully colored tooth came from a huge, adult dinosaur and was in the mouth for a long time, as can be seen by the natural wear on the tip of the tooth. This is an exciting tooth from a large meat-eating dinosaur, one of the most collectible examples we've had.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
