Extremely Large Spinosaurus Tooth From Morocco
Stock Number  DSTMO36

Name:    Spinosaurus aegyptiacus
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Tegana
Location:  Taouz, Morocco
Size:  Tooth is 4.1 inches long.

This is an extremely large tooth of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Spinosaurus was a large, "sail-backed", fish-eating dinosaur that was as long as Tyrannosaurus but not as heavily built. The tooth is heavily striated. The specimen displays very fine enamel. The tooth shows a small amount of natural wear on the tip. A large portion of the root of the tooth is preserved. This is a very nice, large tooth of this unusual carniverous dinosaur from the Cretaceous.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
