Nice, Robust Allosaurus Tooth
Stock Number  DSALL02

Name:    Allosaurus fragilis
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Morrison
Location:  San Juan County, Utah
Size:  Tooth is 2.1 inches along curve.

This is a very robust Allosaurus tooth from the Morrison Formation of Utah. Allosaurus was a large flesh-eating dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous. This tooth has great color. The enamel is very good. This is a strange tooth in that there is only one serrated cutting edge. The serrations are quite evident. There is a small amount of restoration to the very tip of the tooth. This is a very fine tooth of this large, carniverous dinosaur.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
