Large, Robust Albertosaurus Tooth

Name:    Albertosaurus sp.
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Two Medicine
Location:  Montana
Size:  Tooth is 2.5 inches long.

This is a tooth of Albertosaurus sp. from the Two Medicine Formation. Albertosaurus was a large carniverous dinosaur somewhat similar to Tyrannosaurus. This tooth has excellent color. The tooth is very robust. Many fine serrations are present on the cutting edges of the tooth. The tip displays a very small spot of natural wear. This is a collectable tooth from Albertosaurus.
