Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is about 2.2 inches long
Here is a huge tooth from an extinct Pterosaur. This is an Anhanguera sp. tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Anhanguera was not a "true" dinosaur, but rather a "flying reptile". This extremely robust tooth has excellent brick-red color. The enamel is beautiful, and the tooth is very well-preserved. There is a small amount of natural wear on the very tip of the tooth. This is an excellent specimen of a large Pterosaur tooth.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
