This is a tooth of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, a large carniverous dinosaur. This specimen was found in the Cretaceous sediments of Morocco. The tooth is very thick and robust. The serrations along the cutting edges are very nice and easily seen. The tooth has great enamel. A small section of the root of the tooth is displayed. This is a beautifully colored, robust tooth of this meat-eating dinosaur.
